US Secretary of State Ms Hillary Clinton telephoned President Asif Zardari on Thursday night.The
two leaders discussed bilateral ties, regional situation and fight
against militancy, Spokesperson to the President Farhatullah Babar said.Secretary
Clinton said that the United States valued its partnership with
Pakistan and that it supported democracy in the country.President
Zardari said that Pakistan looked forward to continued partnership and
productive engagement with the US on the basis of mutual interest,
