Expressing good wishes about Kashmir not enough: Fazl-ur-Rehman

ISLAMABAD: Ameer of JUI(F) and Chairman Kashmir Committee Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has showed apprehensions over Pak-India Foreign Ministers talks by saying that only expressing of good wishes is par with the putting the Kashmir issue in doldrums.

In an statement issued from federal capital , Maulana said that Indian Prime Minister had revealed his desire that he want to have breakfast at Amritsar, lunch at Lahore and dinner at Kabul . “We also want peace to prevail in the region to such level that the both countries might live like good neighbors. The traveling of the people might be so easy that they take meal in one another’s country”, he said by adding that this all would not be possible without resolving Kashmir issue according to the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
He said that it is the matter of regret that both the countries are spending billion of rupees on the preparation of war but the people of both sides are forced to die with starvation. He said that Pakistan is desirous to resolve the Kashmir problem amicably but India is creating hurdles in it. Now the ball is in the court of India and she should demonstrate some seriousness for resolution of Kashmir issue.
The Chairman Kashmir committee said that on one side Indian Prime Minister is talking about dinners and lunches while on the other hand he stated that 25 percent of Bangladesh population affectees are of ISI.
He said that the purposeful dialogues are imperative to solve the Kashmir issue. “The nation had lot of expectations from the recent leg of dialogues about the some development on Kashmir issue but both ministers also showed their wishes about Kashmir. It would not be justified to keep the issue on only desires even after lapse of 64 years”, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman added Online
