Zardari hosts Iftaar dinner for Muslim countries’ ambassadors

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari hosted Iftaar dinner for the ambassadors of the Muslim countries here at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday.

Those who were present during the Iftaar Dinner included among others ambassadors of Uzbekistan, Libya, Turkmenistan, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Tajikistan, Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Sudan, Algeria, Oman, UAE, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Kuwait, Maldives, Yemen and Iran, says a press statement.
Ch. Ahmed Mukhtar, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Dr. Asim Hussain, Mr. M. Salman Faruqui, Ms. Mehreen Anwer Raja, Syed Naveed Qamar, Senator Dr. Babar Awan and Acting Secretary Foreign Affairs Dr. Alamgir Babar were also present during the Iftaar and dinner.
After Iftaari, the President and the ambassadors offered Maghrib prayer together.
Meanwhile, the President also had separate one-on-one meeting with Dr. Asim Hussain, Mr. Adil Shah, Editor Pakistan Khappay, Senator Abbas Khan Afridi, Senator Faisal Raza Abidi and Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, Senior Provincial Minister Sindh. Online
