PESHAWAR: Final recommendations have been sent to ministry of SAFRON for merging FRs into settled areas.
Governor
Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa (KPK) Barrister Masood Kausar will give special
briefing to the president and prime minister this month on merging FRs
into settled areas.
Sources told FR Peshawar is being merged
into district Peshawar, FR Kohat into district Kohat, FR Bannu into
district Bannu, FR Nowshehra to district Nowshehra, FR Dera Ismail Khan
into district Dera Ismail Khan and FR Lakki Marwat into district Lakki
Marwat. ANP and JUI-F have supported this move.
Sources told
survey had already been completed in this respect. No of national
assembly and provincial assembly seats will be enhanced following the
merger of FRs into settled areas. Online
