Pak police officer wins ‘International Women Police Peace Award 2011’

NEW YORK: United Nations has decided to confer “International Women Police Peace Award 2011” to Pakistani woman police officer upon her fantabulous performance in UN Peace Mission.

According to the Media reports, Pakistan woman police officer Shahzadi Gulfam, who belongs to Punjab Police and serving as Deputy superintendent police. She became part of the UN Peace Mission in 1997 and served in Harzogia, Bosnia, Kosovo and East Taimoor.
Shahzadi Gulfam has been rendering her services in UN Peace Corps in Dali of East Taimoor since 2007. The UN has made its decision by keeping in view her excellent services in order to bring peace in the above mentioned conflict hit countries.
It is worth mentioning here that for this award 12 women across the world were competing with each other, however, Shahzadi Gulfam, a Pakistani woman police officer won this award.
However, formally the Award will be conferred to her in the opening ceremony of International Association of Women Police. Online
