KARACHI: PPPP, Karachi leader, Zafar Baloch has demanded of the
British and American governments to declare Altaf Hussain as a
terrorist and ban his entry in their country.
Addressing a
joint press conference at the Karachi press club, the PPPP leader
announced that a memorandum on behalf of Lyari community regarding the
ban on Altaf Hussein’s entry in UK and America would also be presented
soon.
Zafar Baloch also lambasted the press conference of MQM’s
Farooq Sattar as a pack of lies from a compulsive lair, and strongly
condemned it.
He also accused MQM of posing as a reconciliatory
element, trying to fool National masses and global community; while
thousands of Urdu speaking community had been ruthlessly murdered
during past 18 months.
Replying to a question, Zafar Baloch
strongly opposed Army’s intervention in Karachi, saying that locals
could well handle the situation themselves. “ Only a strong political
will is required to handle the issue” he declared.
Replying to
yet another question, he said that Rehman Malik’s repeated visits to
Karachi, gave the impression of failure of Provincial administration,
as masses get the wrong idea that Rehman Malik was causing killings of
