ISLAMABAD: The UAE embassy in Pakistan with the collaboration of UAE
charities mainly Red Crescent Authority organized series of extended
iftari programs in the holy month of Ramadan in different cities of
Pakistan especially Islamabad and Rawalpindi, right from the first of
Ramadan.
The embassy’s envoy said such purposeful initiatives
will be continued and carried in other parts of the country during the
whole month of Ramadan. The embassy, on Tuesday held a well organized
iftari program/dinner in the courtyard of the Pakistan Red Crescent
Society which was attended by all employees and workers of the society.
Mattar Al Mansouri,the charge d Affaires of the Embassy and the
chairperson of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society Ms. Nilofar Bakhtiar
attended the iftar with the people.
HE Mattar Al Mansouri said
in this occasion that the humanitarian and charities initiatives
sponsored by the UAE charitable organizations/institutions under the
guidance of H. H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the
UAE are well taken and highly appreciated by the social welfare
