LAHORE: Chairman standing Committee Senator Sabir Ali Baloch has
directed the SNGPL (Sui Northern Gas Private Ltd) administration to
strictly observe rules and regulations and ensure the availability of
gas for domestic and industrial consumption .
He was presiding
over the meeting of the standing committee on petroleum and natural
resources on July 1, 2011 at SNGPL Head Office, Lahore., which was also
attended by the members of the standing committee and officers of the
SNGPL.
The members of the standing committee were given a
comprehensive briefing by SNGPL administration with special reference
to the fiscal position of the organization for the period 2010-2011,
alongwith details of recruitment made by SNGPL for the year 2010-11 in
which government quota had been observed strictly.
The briefing
also included the steps taken by SNGPL administration to control the
incidents of gas pilferage. Chairman standing committee also directed
the SNGPL administration to control the unauthorized consumption of
gas.
