President Asif Ali Zardari has greeted the government and the people of China on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of Communist Party of China.
In a letter written to Chinese president, President Zardari stated
“It gives me great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency, the
Government and the people of China most cordial greetings on the
occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of Communist
Party of China.
China’s achievements are a source of pride and inspiration for
Pakistan. China’s continued success is a testimony to the commitment
and vision of its leadership and the hard work and discipline of its
people. As friends and neighbors, we in Pakistan view this success as a
positive force for peace and stability in the region and beyond.
He said that the Communist Party of China, with its around 80
million members, has played a key role in China’s development and
progress. It has also made immense contributions towards promoting
Pakistan-China friendship at various levels and in diverse fields. We
are grateful for these contributions, he added.
He wrote that it is indeed a happy coincidence that the 90th
anniversary of Communist Party of China and the 60th anniversary of
establishment of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations are being
celebrated this year. He said that the Pakistan People’s Party takes
pride in its historic linkages with China and the Communist Party of
China. We remain committed to promoting partnership between Pakistan
and China in a mutually beneficial manner.
