Pakistani Ambassador to United States Hussain Haqqani has said that Pakistani government
wanted to reinstate relations with America and hate against America in
the masses is due to lack of effective contacts.
In an interview with an America TV channel, he said that America
committed a big mistake in the history by letting Pakistan alone and
neither America unarm militants nor trained Pakistani security agencies.
He said that hate against America is present in Pakistan due to lack
of America’s effective contacts with Pakistani masses, adding that
Pakistani government understand the situation so wanted to reinstate
relations with America and Pakistan do not wanted only aid relations.
He said that American Senators should not ask questions in from of
threats and ambassador said that he do not play any role to change the
Pakistani masses views about former president Pervaz Musharraf.. SANA
