Crackdown against terrorists to continue: Ameer Haider Khan Hoti

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has said that government is ready to welcome those elements which accept the government’s writ by surrendering arms, but if they don’t act upon his advice , they should be ready for their logical end.

He was addressing a public meeting on the occasion of first death anniversary of son of Information Minister KP Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Mian Rashid who was killed in a suicide attack exactly one year ago.
He said that the government would not give up the chase of terrorists, no matter it would has to pay big price for establishing peace in the country. He said that it is message for the terrorists that they should leave the way they are following otherwise they would be flushed out ultimately . “The government did its best to restore law and order in the province . We even hold talks with terrorists inspite of harsh criticism at Swat. We implemented Shariah law at Malakand, not for Maulana Sufi Muhammad and Fazal Ullah but on the demand of the people”, CM KP added.
He said that province has gained control on its resources and now there are billion of rupees in provincial exchequer.
He announced that the people and government of the province would observe ‘Yum-e-Shuhada’ (martyrs’ day) on 25 July each year to pay homage to the sacrifices given by the martyrs in the ongoing war against terrorism. Online
