Plea filed in SC for registration of 2nd FIR in BB killing case

The petition filed in Supreme Court of Pakistan for the registration of second FIR of the murder of Benazir Bhutto against 12 people including Rehman Malik the Interior Minister, Babar Awan, Senior Federal Minister Pervez Elahi, former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf.

This petition filed by the protocol officer of Benazir Bhutto Chaudhry Mohammad Aslam, who also was critically injured in the Liaquat Bagh carnage.
Chaudhry Mohammad Aslam requested in his petition filed in SC that the Lahore High Court refused his petition to register second FIR, LHC said that I am not legal heir of Benazir Bhutto, so I could not register any FIR.
He courted the reference of FIR number 213/2008, in which Benazir Bhutto personally went to police station and registered the FIR against the killing of her party were on 18th of October, 2007.
The applicant also attached other references in his petition, according those references the party leader and the party worker could register the FIR for each other.
The applicant nominated the people in his petition are included former President Pervez Musharraf, former DG of IB Brigadier Ijaz Shah, former Chief Minister of Punjab Pervez Elahi, former Interior Minister Gen, (retd) Hamid Nawaz Khan, former interior secretary Syed Kamal Shah, Brigadier MCMC Javaid Iqbal, DCO Rawalpindi Irfan Elahi, CPO Rawalpindi Saud Aziz, Yaseen Farooq, Khuram Waraich, Babar Awan and Rehman Malik.
He said in his petition that if Babar Awan and Rehman Malik would have not been fled from the place of incident with the car of Benazir Bhutto, her life could have been saved. He requested to the court to arrest these people and include them in the investigations of the BB case. SANA
