Twin honour killing case still a mystery

ISLAMABAD /MANDI BAHAUDDIN: The mystery of murder of a graduation student, Sehrish and her mother on the name of honour could not be resolved as police instead of becoming prosecution itself has made the watchman of the locality petitioner in the case on the instructions of DPO.

Police is proving shelter to the real culprits whereas on the request of dwellers of the area , Magistrate has sent the samples of the body to the forensic laboratory Lahore after exhumation. The hospital sources said that the dead body was not in the good condition and after lapse of 13 days it was hard to detect any mark of violence on it.
On the other hand the police just to protect the killers , has kept all the evidences of the incident including autopsy report in secrecy and especially the media is not being told even a word.
Few days back three brothers Yasir , Nasir and Ajmal slain their sister at the locality of Roshanpura of Mandi Bahauddin in the name of honour . The deceased’s daughter , Sehrish who was student of BA was only eye-witness of the murder. She told her neighbors about the murder of her mother but her maternal uncles Yasir , Nasir and Ajmal forbade her to do so.
When Sehrish got fed up with the continuous life threats from her relatives, she asked her cousin Atif to drop her to ‘Dar-ul-Aman’ as the uncles would also kill her like her mother. When Atif reached her home to pick the girl , culprits of Yasir and Nasir kidnapped him on the gun point.
Latter they handed over Atif to police and killed Sehrish by giving electric shock to her. Police after necessary investigation , released Atif after 48 hours and gave him way to go outside the city.
District Police Officer Dar Ali Khattak ordered the police to make watchman of Roshanpura applicant in the case instead of police would have been acted as prosecution in the case. He also instructed the police to conceal the case from the eyes of media so as to save the killers by hook or crook. He also directed police that investigations of the case should be brought forward in such a way that Supreme Court may not take sue motto action.
When Online tried to contact DPO his cellular phone was switched off. The sources said that DPO Khattak has political backing so he want to burry the case. Online
