Study group stresses commitment to ensure Pakistan's economic growth

New York : Asian Policy Pakistan 2020 Study Group report has laid stress on the need to ensure long term commitment from the Pakistan government and its various stakeholders to promote genuine reform in the country.

The report envisages the India-Pak peace settlement, a comprehensive policy package aimed at the sustainable democracy and expansion of education and health sectors as a key to the nation’s economic growth, The Dawn reports.
The report “Pakistan 2020: A Vision for building a better future” is authored by the Chairman of Quaid-i-Azam seat at Columbia University, Hassan Abbas.
Among the other recommendations made by the report that could usher economic growth are sustained democratisation process,civilian rule,overhaul of legal system and an independant judiciary.(ANI)
