Rehman Malik did not talk about Osama family with Saudi leadership, clarifies Interior Ministry

ISLAMABAD : Interior Minister Rehman Malik has explained that Saudi Arabia did not make any request to hand over the family of Osama bin Laden in his recent visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to a statement issued by the Interior Ministry, that neither Rehman Malik talk with Saudi government to accept the Osama bin Laden’s family nor Saudi leadership discussed this issue during his visit.
On the other hand, in an announcement Interior Minister Rehman Malik has announced the sum of five million rupees for the persons who would help in the arrest of persons involved in the killing of Saudi diplomat in Karachi.
The minister said that the name of the persons would be kept confidential and would be protected.
He said that the government is doing all its efforts to nab the criminals involved in the killing of security in-charge of the Saudi Consulate in Karachi Hassan-al-Kahatani, who was killed by unknown gunmen firing on last Monday. SANA
