Rawalpindi: A Chinese delegation headed by Major General ZHOU
HONGTAO, Deputy Chief of Staff XINJIANG Military Command called on
Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at General
Headquarters on Thursday.
The delegation is on an official visit to Pakistan for discussing modalities of forthcoming Pak-China Joint Military Exercise.
According
to military sources, host of issues of bilateral interest with special
focus on Abbottabad Operation came under discussion.
Both discussed the regional security situation, bilateral defence relations and measures to enhance military cooperation.
Major
General ZHOU HONGTAO, Deputy Chief of Staff XINJIANG Military Command
assured China’s continued support in various fields to Pakistan. He
also reciprocated the desire to bolster bilateral defense
collaboration.
Sources told Online that Chief of Army Staff,
General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani that undoubtedly Pak-China friendship is
time tested adding bilateral defence relations and measures to enhance
