Killing of Chechens in Quetta: Jamaat-e- Islami files adjournment motion in Senate

ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e- Islami has filed an adjournment motion in senate secretariat on the incident of gunning down 5 aliens by security forces in Quetta and later enacting drama of killing suicide bombers.

In the adjournment motion JI senators Professor Khurshid Ahmad and others have said 5 Chechans including 3 women and 2 men were traveling from Kachlak to Quetta on May, 17. Police personnel of Kachlak Thana grabbed money from them and allowed them to go. They informed police personal deployed at Balili check post. When these Chechans nationals reached Balili check post, the police officers deployed in the check post obtained their share of extortion money and let them go. They informed police staff of airport police station about them.
These foreigners when came out of the mosque police chased them and they being scared ran to police check post to seek refuge.
Police informed the FC personnel that these foreigners wanted to blow out police picket.
FC personnel opened indiscriminate firing injuring five Chechans. The women after surrendering waved their hands but police and FC continued firing.
Senators have demanded of Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the incident. Online
