Senior Education Minister of Sindh Pir Mazharul Haq has ruled out the impression of in-house change in the National Assembly and termed it as the baseless propaganda against the democratic government.
This he said while talking to media at the residence of Pasha Qazi, member of Sindh Council PPP where
he arrived to offer condolence on sad demise of his mother last night.
Senior Minister said that difference of opinion was the beauty of democracy but it does not mean as
threat or instability to the system.
He said that PPP was pro-democratic and would not indulge in destabilizing of Punjab government. He
said that presently this democratic government was facing the challenge of terrorism which can only be
eliminated by the joint efforts of all political forces.
Replying a question regarding differences between PPP and MQM, Senior Minister said that all the
decisions were being taken by the government with the consultation of all coalition partners including
MQM and added that recently the government has taken back 50% increase in petroleum products and this
step was acknowledged by MQM leaders.
He said that we do respect to all our coalition partners and their point of view. He expressed his
optimism that all pro-democratic political parties would not only respect each other’s mandate but
also to be united for the strengthening of the democracy and its institutions in national interest.
