Police on Sunday arrested the Karam Dad Bhatti from Hafizabad regarding the Bank of Punjab fraud scandal. Accused Bhatti is the accomplice of former president of the bank, Hamesh Khan in the fraud scandal.
According to a private TV channel, the police after arresting Karam Dad Bhatti said that he is a scoundrel in the Punjab Bank Fraud scandal.
On the other hand, Karam Dad Bhatti said that his arrest is a violation of the court orders as the Lahore High Court has issued a stay order on the case. He said that his arrest is unlawful and the LHC should resolve the matter.
