Two dacoits were killed in an armed encounter with police in Jhang; meanwhile police arrested two dacoits including a woman here on Thursday.
According to Satellite Town Police Station, the vehicles were being
snap-checked on a tip-off after erecting pickets near Bypass, when
dacoits riding a vehicle opened fire at police party.
Police returned the attack causing the miscreants’ vehicle to capsize and three dacoits were injured in the action.
The injured were shifted to District Hospital, where two dacoits succumbed to injuries.SANA
