ISLAMABAD: Another spell of rains will likely to continue in lower Sindh, South Punjab, and Balochistan in the next two days.
According
to Meteorological Department, different areas received different
quantity of rain. The officials recorded 333 millimetres rainfall at
the Mithi, 312 mm at Saplo in the suburb of Chachar.
Met
department also forecast that the pressure of rains would lose after 36
hours while Sothern Punjab would remain in grip of heavy rains. Under
the influence of the strong weather system, widespread heavy rains are
expected in Sindh, south Punjab and east Balochistan during next 24-48
hours.
Strong monsoon currents are continuously penetrating in
southern parts of the country especially Sindh and south Punjab which
are likely to cause scattered rain/thundershower with isolated heavy
falls in Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Sahiwal, Lahore,
Faisalabad and Gujranwala divisions during next two days with intervals
whereas isolated rain/thundershower is likely in north Punjab during
next 24 hours.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, isolated
rain/thundershower is expected in D.I.Khan, Kohat, Peshawar and Hazara
divisions during next 24 hours. In Sindh, widespread rain/thundershower
with heavy falls at times is expected in the province especially in
Hyderabad and Mirpur Khas divisions during next two days. Online
