ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik met Iranian
Foreign Minister Dr Ali Akbar Salehi. The meeting was held in a very
cordial atmosphere in which mutual relations and matter of bilateral
interests were discussed.
Rehman Malik, on the occasion said
that Pakistan gives great importance to her relationship with Iran . He
said that ties between both countries would be further strengthen. He
said that the organizations like Al-Qaida and Jind Ullah are the foe of
entire Muslim Ummah. Islam imparts the training of peace and love and
those who victimize children and women could not be well-wisher of
Islam.
He thanked Iran for timely assistance to the flood
affected people last year. Furthermore Iran has also offered to lend a
hand for recent rains and flood for which the government as well as
people of Pakistan are grateful to brothern Islamic country
