ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has submitted additional information and
comments to the Court of Arbitration (CoA) at The Hague (Netherlands)
on Kishenganga Hydro Electric Plant.
The Court of Arbitration
held hearings at The Hague from August 25 to 27 as a part of the
Kishenganga Hydro Electric Plant case filed by Pakistan against India.
The hearings were on a request for interim measures filed by Pakistan.
At the end of the hearing, the CoA asked for additional information and
comments from both the parties by September 07. The CoA will consider
the parties submissions and the additional information after which it
will reach a decision on interim measures.
The Ministry of
Water and Power has stated that no decision has been taken yet. The
reports appearing in the media have no bearing on the reality of the
