TEHRAN: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has visited the land
of his ancestors Gillan province of Iran and offered Fatiha at the
shrine of famous Sufi saint Sheikh Zahid Gillani there at the city of
Lahijan.
The governor of Gillan province Mehdi Sadati has
welcomed him at the provincial capital Rashat , where Prime Minister
Gillani went to see the land of his forefathers . Foreign for Minister
Hina Rabbani Khar, Textile Minister Makhdoom Shahab-ud-Din , Minister
for Technial Training Riaz Hussain Pirzada and Senator Sughra Imam
accompanied him.
Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani took
special interest in the renovation work of Zahid Gillani’s tomb which
is being carried out under the supervision of Governor Mehdi Sadati.
He showed his pleasure on the tour of the place, from where his family had migrated to Multan centuries ago. Online
