PML-N, MQM invite other parties to support them for building up pressure on govt through parliament

ISLAMABAD: PML-N and MQM have invited other parties to join hands with them in their efforts to pressurize the government through parliament to accept courts decisions and improve law and order situation in Karachi.

“The government has utterly failed to improve law and order situation in the country. We will pressurize the government through the parliament to accept Supreme Court decisions, and improve law and order situation in Karachi. We invite other opposition parties to support us”, PML-N and MQM leaders said this while talking to media men outside parliament on Friday. They included Sheikh Aftab, Abdul Qadir Khanzada and SA Iqbal Qadri.
They told the both parties had filed requisition to summon National Assembly due to lakc of interest by the government in the problems facing the government.
If the government does not reform it then the opposition parties have many other options, they added.
MQM leaders charged ever since MQM had parted ways with the government, people of Karachi are being punished. Their houses are being torched, they alleged.
“Earlier efforts were made to snatch vote but this government is trying to snatch mandate of MQM but we will not allow any one to deprive us of our right. We will succeed on two seats of Kashmiri refugees in Karachi”, they underscored. Online
