Karachi turns into a virtual battlefield, bleeding profusely, death toll reaches 29

KARACHI: The bloody and devastating wave of terrorism has entered its fourth consecutive day, on Friday with 29 citizens killed and 30 injured.

The bloody and devastating wave, which began on Tuesday, entered Friday as toll till date reached about 95 killed so far, with close to 200 wounded.
Many of the victims include children, women and aged, in volatile situation, which erupted out of gangwars and conflicts, originating from Orangi Town, and eventually engulfing vast areas of Karachi’s West and middle regions, which include Orangi Town, Katti Pehari, Qasba Colony, Muslimabad, Aligarh Colony, Islamia Colony, Haryana Colony, Mominabad, Benaras, North Nazimabad, Baldia Town, and others.
Law enforcement agencies stand at their worst ever helplessness, as lawlessness and terror rules, while many security personnel, of police and Rangers have been known to have vacated their checkouts, outrightly.
Intense intermittent firing has forced countless citizens to relocate to safer havens, while their abandoned properties are being torched and demolished. Those brave or forced to stay put are being mercilessly slaughtered at point blank ranges.
A free for all rocket and grenade attacks are being carried out in Qasba Town, adjacent to Masroor Airbase as in a regular battlefield, while rockets fired with equal impunity have been known to have hit houses as far away as Mujahid Road, Turk and Gujrat Mohallas, etc. Online
