Comprehensive strategy formulated to accelerate pace of development: PM Gilani

Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday said the government has devised a comprehensive strategy to accelerate the pace of development in all areas of the country.  He said that this policy produced effective results due to active participation of elected parliamentarians. The Prime Minister expressed these views while talking to office bearers of PPP’s Punjab Parliamentary Party, who called on him at PM House. He said he would soon convene and preside over the Parliamentary Party meeting to reorganize the party in Punjab. A strategy will also be devised to make PPP Parliamentary Party in Punjab more effective, he added.

Raja Riaz, Leader of Opposition in Punjab assembly apprised the Prime Minister about the party matters. He also sought his guidance to improve the working of the party.
Zulfiqar Ali Gondal, leader of Parliamentary Party Punjab and Shaukat Basra deputy Parliamentary Leader were also present in the meeting. APP
