FBISE announces result of SSC exams, 80% students passed

Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced result of the Secondary School Certificate annual examination with a pass percentage of about 80% and all top positions going to girls.

In all, 61015 candidates appeared in the examination and of them 48773 have been declared successful.
Overall first position goes to Arooma Majid of Army Public School for Girls, Tufail Road, Lahore who secured 1022 marks.
Second position has been shared by Ayesha and Naima Dawood of Islamabad Model College for Girls, I-10/4, Islamabad who got 1021 marks each.
Third position has also been shared by Nimra Babur of Islamabad Model College for Girls, F-6/2, Islamabad and Sumbal Wajid of Garrison Academy Kharian Cantt, who secured 1018 marks each.
In Humanities Group, Saad Jan of Institute of Islamic Sciences, Satra Meel, Islamabad stood first securing 940 marks. Hajran of Pakistan International Schook, Jedda, Saudi Arabia got second position with 937 marks while third position was bagged by Waqas Mahmood Abbasi of Institute of Islamic Sciences, Satra Meel, Islamabad getting 919
marks.
Meanwhile, Secondary School Certificate Supplementary Examination of the Federal Board would begin from 13th of September this year. Last date for submission of admission forms without late fee is 29th of this month and with double late fee 8th of next month. SANA
