ISLAMABAD: Ban on all kind of transfers and appointments will remain
in effect till 31 July 2011 in PEPCO, WAPDA and its sub-ordinate
departments, under the directives of Federal Minster for Water &
Power Syed Naveed Qamar.
The Spokesperson of Water & Power
said that the Minister imposed ban on postings and all sort of
transfers in the Month of May, 2011. He took this initiative to improve
the efficiency and performance of the workers and officers, and
particularly they could provide their maximum services in the summer
season.
Moreover, he advised to the concerning authorities to
improve their recovery services to minimize the sufferings of the
people in this scorching heat, when the country has been facing
problems due to energy crisis.
Further, the Minister directed
to high ups in the Ministry to follow up his directives to enhance the
performance of the PEPCO and WAPDA personnel and in this regard
