KARACHI: 10 more persons have been killed in ongoing spate of
killings by firings, including police personnel, MQM, Sipah-e-Sahaba,
and a woman.
Unknown persons killed the 29-year old policeman,
Ali Mazhar s/o Ali Akbar. The deceased, targeted near his residence was
deployed at the security zone and had also provided security cover to
PPPP’s regional leader Bilal Sheikh.
An 18-year old activist of
banned Jaish -e-Muhammad, named Saleem was also killed by unknown
persons in Rizvia Society, while another named Gul Waris was wounded.
Meanwhile
confrontation between two warring group resulted in killing of
Jaish-e-Muhammad’s 18 year old activist, Aqeel s/o Ahmad Hussain, after
which both groups entrenched themselves in aggressive mode,
transforming the entire scenario in a war-like situation. Police
arrived promptly on the scene and arrested 6 miscreants.
Deadbody
of 25-year old MQM activist, Muhammad Iftikhar was found in Kachra
Mandi area, while a brutalized body of a woman dressed in pink was
found strangled near an Afghan camp.
A 25-year old youth,
ostensibly a Kacchi ethnic was abducted and shot publicly in head and
jaws , while deadbodies of two Kacchi youth were also discovered ,
creating panic and scare in the area. Online
