Husband of Amna Masood Janjua not in the custody of intelligence agencies: SC told

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has been told that husband of Amna Masood Janjua is not in the custody of intelligence agencies and they have no knowledge about him.

This was told by Deputy Attorney General (DAG) to SC on behalf of intelligence agencies.
A 2-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Saqib Nisar took up the separate petition of Amna Masood Janjua for hearing on Tuesday in connection with missing person case.
Amna Masud Janjua while levelling allegations against intelligence agencies in her petition had said her husband was in the custody of intelligence agencies in Westridge and she held all the evidence with her in this regard. The court had sought reply through DAG. KK Agha DAG told the court her husband was not found at the destination which was identified by Amna Masood Janjua. Therefore, there was no substance in her allegations, he added. All the agencies had expressed their ignorance about her husband, he submitted.
