ISLAMABAD: Parliament and Judiciary are on the loggerheads over Islamabad High Court (IHC) stay order blocking action against the persons allegedly involved in Rs320 million scam in NA employees’ housing society.

According to the National Assembly sources, a prominent lawyer’s services have been hired to vacate IHC’s stay order. The sources said a report regarding embezzlement in the NA Housing Society was presented in the Lower House, which was approved unanimously. The report implicated four officers in Rs32 million embezzlement in the funds of the housing society.
