Lahore High Court accepts application about illegal detention of alleged terrorists

Islamabad High Court has accept the application for hearing regarding illegal detention of seven terrorists allegedly involved in the suicide attacks on former Surgeon General Pak Army , Major General Mushtaq Baig and Danish Embassy.

Earlier Lahore High Court had acquitted all the accused but after their release, law enforcement agencies took them into custody again and shifted to some unknown place on which their relatives moved the Islamabad High Court
On Tuesday the law enforcers presented the record of the accused in the court. After checking it, Chief Justice IHC, Justice Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman accepted the application for hearing and showed his resentment over unlawful custody by Interior Ministry and law enforcement agencies.
However Deputy Attorney General Tariq Jahangir told the court that although first Anti-Terrorist Court and then Lahore High Court had released the accused but they were apprehended from Adiyala Jail Rawalpindi on solid evidences against them. He said that they have charge to attack on Danish Embassy as well as former Surgeon General Pak Army Major General Mushtaq Baig in which dozens of people were killed. Online
