Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid
Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif isexpected to pronounce a major announcement
in first week of July regarding the political situation of the country.
Sources inside the PML-N have told that largest opposition party in
National Assembly is expected to announce joint resignations at the end
of August or at the start of September.
It is expected that next session of the National Assembly would also
be held in August. PML-N would try its best to persuade other
opposition parties for joint resignations from the Assembly.
Sources said opposition parties would put strong pressure on
government following their joint resignations and for fresh polls in
the country.
PML-N sources have claimed that they have the support of around 100
members and by joining MQM this number would reach 135. They also
believed by resigning in such a large number it would become almost
impossible for the Federal Government to hold bye elections.
It has also been learnt that PML-N principally decided to interact
with new opposition party MQM and opposition leaders have been given a
green signal in this regard.
PML-N sources have admitted that one of the reason of the presenting
of joint resignations is to stop an out going Assembly to play any role
in Senate elections of March 2012. SANA
