Amir Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman telephoned MQM Chief Altaf Husain and discussed the current political situation after the separation of MQM from the PPP government.
According to sources, Maulana Fazlur Rehman called Altaf Hussain and
talked on different issues for one hour and he congratulated Altaf
Hussain for his and his party’s bold decision to sit on opposition
benches in Center and Sindh Assembly.
In this conversation, both leaders agreed that they would work
together to strengthen the democracy and democratic institutions of the
country and they also decided that they would play their opposition
role jointly.
According to details, Altaf Hussain and JUI-F Amir discussed the
prevailing law and order situation of the country and both vowed to
play their due role in and outside the parliament for survival of the
