ISLAMABAD : Law Minister Punjab Rana Sanullah Khan has said that people are criticizing Punjab government but no one has the courage to name the persons those were involved in the Raymond Davis release incident.
Talking to a private TV channel, he said that Punjab government bear
the American pressure and family took themselves decision to leave and
to receive blood money without anyone’s pressure.
He said that Islamic Laws allows to accept the blood money and
affected family whenever faced any problem during the case they shared
the problems with media so it was their responsibility to inform the
people and media about any pressure for accepting blood money.
He said that now case is in the court and whatever Lahore High Court will decide Punjab government will accept the judgment.
He said that this matter is finished with the departure of Raymond
Allan Davis but media still has interest in the case, adding that
different people are discussing different stories but nobody has the
courage to name any person involved openly even after knowing.
He said that as matter is in the court and according to advice of
our leader Main Muhammad Nawaz Sharif we will accept the court
judgment.
He said that court released the Raymond Davis and everybody blamed
the Punjab government, adding that reality is that Punjab government
lodged an FIR against him and after his arrest and investigations he
was declared criminal and sent behind the bars.
He said that if someone wanted to forget these all facts and wanted
to criticize Punjab government, adding that then they will accept
criticism with open heart.
Talking to a private TV channel Spokesperson of Punjab government
Senator Parvez Rashid has said that we himself make fun of our law and
it is responsibility of government to implement law in the country.
He said that news has been published in media about responsible of
the incident but no denial came from any one, who was named as
responsible, adding that people should know about these persons.
He said that they would implement law in the country after coming in
power with majority as it was being implemented before 1999.
He said that this case has two aspects one is that a member of the
family is killed and other aspect of the case is that a foreigner
killed a Pakistani on the road, adding that it was responsibility of
the government to take stand on issues like this because responsible
nations always implement laws in the country.
He said that we should make accountable those persons, who were involved to make ready the families to accept blood money.
Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Liquat Baloch talking to a private
TV channel said that the family’s discovery on media can help to decide
the responsible people, adding that it is not difficult for Punjab
government to conduct investigations and these investigations would do
nothing except people will come to know about the faces behind the
scene.
He said that civil and military establishment is making policies and
some policies of former dictator Pervez Musharraf are continuing.
He said that Jamaat-e-Islami is struggling to get rid of American
slavery with the help of masses, adding that problems of people are
multiplying because of incompetent rulers and anti-Pakistan powers are
increasing their influence.
He said that after three months news is coming about the families
are back in the scene, adding that Punjab government was taking care of
Raymond and home department was perusing the case.
He said that rulers are accepting America’s dictation but people are
not coward; instead of the fact they want to live honourable life.
He said that they are struggling for independent and prosperous
Pakistan, which is not possible in the presence of these incompetent
