ISLAMABAD : President Asif Ali Zardari’s father Hakim Ali Zardari,
who was admitted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS)
few weeks ago , is said to be in critical condition.
Sources in
PIMS told Online that Hakim Ali Zardari was placed on ventilator as he
is also suffering from problems in respiratory system. A doctor on
condition of anonymity said that father of the president is suffering
from chronic kidney and lung failure. “Earlier, he had suffered from
brain hemorrhage, several tests’ result are awaited and he is under
intensive care,” he added.
The sources said that five-member
team of senior specialists led by Dr. Jamal Zafar are administering the
patients’ diseases and are working hard day and night for his early
recovery, however little improvement in his health was noticed so far.
“The specialists of kidney, lungs , heart and others are part of the team,” the sources said.
Few days ago a little improvement in his health was noticed but that proved temporary, they said. Online
