Government should implement parliament’s resolution: Fazl-ur-Rehman

Lahore: Central Ameer of JUI(F) Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has said that violation of ariel boundaries and shelling within Pakistan’s limit by NATO helicopters is an eye-opener incident for entire nation. After the resolution of joint parliament, the news regarding new agreement and combined operations are apprehensive for the people.

He was speaking with the Secretary General Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidry telephonically from the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. He advised the government to focus on the resolution adopted by the parliament unanimously instead of thinking over other options.
Fazl was of the view that the people would not accept any new deal with USA. He said that the rulers should take steps towards implementation of the resolution and revamp its foreign and interior policies.
“Constitution of the commission to probe Abbottabad incident may take place early. Prime Minister may announce its members after consultation with all political parties present in the parliament. The commission should fix the responsibility and suggest steps to prevent such incidents in future”, JUI (F) leader added.
He said that all the political and military leadership of the country is united on one point and that is USA is not friend of Pakistan as she is only working to gain its interests in the region.
He said that even after passage of resolution in the parliament, America is continuing the drone attacks . Now time has come to stop the NATO supplies at once. The country has reached at most crucial point in the history and today the sovereignty of Pakistan became a big question mark.
“USA could not have dared to conduct operation at Abbottabad , if the resolution passed by parliament almost one year earlier could have been implemented in its true letters and spirit. Online
