Zardari visits London to look into his property matters or to meet Altaf Hussain: Rana Sana Ullah

LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah has said President Asif Ali Zardari looks into his property matters or meets with Altaf Hussain in London.

“President Zardari undertook visit of Nawab Shah only for 3 minutes and then he ran to London for his medical check up. This check up could be got conducted after 10 days also. President should have stayed in Nawab Shah as people of this area had given him mandate. Such inhuman attitude should have been rectified. Zardari looks into his property matters in London or he meets Altaf Hussain therein”, Rana Sana Ullah said this while talking to media men outside Punjab Assembly (PA) on Monday.
Mian Nawaz Sharif visit to Nawab Shah was already scheduled but he postponed his visit when he came to know about Zardari visit to Nawab Shah, he said adding Nawaz Sharif had said in light mood that he had come to Nawab Shah on the invitation of Asif Zardari. His visit to Nawab Shah was not politically motivated but it was carried out on purely humanitarian grounds , Punjab law minister stated.
Sindh government had fully failed in extending help to flood affectees in the province, he said.
Rain affected people in Sindh were taking refuge on roads and Sindh government was spending all the time in patronizing extortionists and was not sparing time to help the people, he alleged.
Altaf Hussain did not refute the allegations in his press conference in unequivocal terms which were levelled by Zulfiqar Mirza against MQM, he maintained. Whatever Zulfiqar Mirza had said was true but he did not tell any thing about him, Rana Sana Ullah said. MQM, PPP and ANP did not provide effective replies to the allegations brought against them but they were only making statements, he held. These three parties were involved in worsening the situation of Karachi, he charged.
Democracy is facing no threat whatsoever from any thing, he said adding if it is facing any threat it is threat from inhuman attitude of the incumbent government and its massive corruption.
He went on to say that Babar Awan was master of bargaining. Demanding suo motu action by Babar Awar from Supreme Court about Dengue fever amounted to ridiculing apex court and committing contempt of court. Babar Awan should assess his character first of all as he starts every day with loot and plunder spree , Rana Sana Ullah charged.
Provincial government was mobilizing all resources for elimination of Dengue virus , he said adding a committee has been constituted to identify the persons who will show negligence in this matter and will award severe punishment to them. Online
