NEW YORK: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar met her Netherlands’
counterpart Uri Rosenthal and Kashmiri leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq
separately and discussed matters of mutual interests on the sidelines
of United Nations General Assembly session.
During the meeting
between Khar and Rosenthal, both the leaders strongly condemned the
killing of Baharhanuddin Rabbani. Netherlands’ FM appreciated
Pakistan’s role in Afghanistan.
The meeting between the two leaders lasted for 20 minutes in UN’s building.
Meanwhile,
after the meeting between Khar and Mirwaiz, latter told media that the
meeting was positive. He also said that US arrested Ghulam Nabi Fai to
pressurise Pakistan. Online
