Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf has demanded Governors rule in Sindh under a non partisan governor who could restore peace in Karachi.
This was demanded by Akbar S. Babar, Vice President Information
& Media Management, Zahid Hussein Kazmi, Chairman’s Media Advisor,
Col. Younus Raza, CEC member, Ali Awan, Coordinater si-in Event in a
press conference here on Friday.
The PTI has finalized the arrangements for the sit-in in front of
parliament today (Saturday). The first in a series of Ramadan protests
which are unprecedented in Pakistan’s history.
The protests would be led by the PTI Chairman Imran Khan. The
schedule of events include Iftari, followed by Namaz and Tarawee to be
followed with speeches and political skits by renowned artists.
The PTI leaders hoped that the sit-in would be a turning point in
Pakistan’s politics. They said that the country is slipping into chaos
and anarchy. It is the responsibility of all citizens to come out and
demand the resignation of the present corrupt and inept government.
Every day this government stays in power, Pakistan would further slip
into anarchy.
The PTI Leaders said that the time has come for the Supreme Court to put its entire weight behind its decisions.
The government, including the PM is in contempt of the Supreme
Court. The people expect of the Supreme Court to initiate contempt
proceedings against the PM irrespective of any other considerations.
The PTI leaders stated that the death and destruction in Karachi is
a result of the political mafias fighting to control the bhatta trade.
The 3 political parties in government in Sindh have failed to provide
good governance and instead destroyed the law enforcement agencies by
politicizing them. SANA
