Amir Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal Maulana Fazalur Rehman has said that formation of new provinces on the bases of areas, languages and nationality is to sabotage the Pakistani ideology.
A committee of senior members of parliament should be formed and
sent to Karachi; they should stay in Karachi until the restoration of
peace in Karachi.
Talking to media persons outside the parliament house, he said that
if the destruction of schools in Swat and Malakand is enmity with
education then what we could name the restrictions for taking admission
in religious seminaries.
Maulana Fazal said that the county is unable to bear the formation
of new provinces based on languages and not it is the time to discuss
such issues, adding that provinces should be established on the basis
of administration but PPP is not serious in this issue.
Replying to a question regarding the restoration of MMA he said that
we are trying to restore MMA, adding that as host the Jamiat Ulema
Pakistan should fulfill its responsibility and should call the meeting
of the MMA, adding that I am hopeful for the restoration of MMA very
soon.
He said that there is no law and constitution in Swat and Malakand,
the whole authority lies in hands of army and the seminaries are banned
and the students are stopped to get admission in seminaries.
He said that the Americans hired more houses in Islamabad than the
establishment and civil bureaucrats. Same is the case in Peshawar.
The Americans have established a network in Karachi, adding that the
country has been become slave due to the policies of the government.
He said that everything could be expected from those people who had attached their interests with the US.
He said that it is not true that the country is sovereign, adding that the boss of the country someone else.
Regarding the pressure for opening consulate in Quetta, Maulana
Fazalur Rehman said that the rulers, who have related their benefits
with the international forces, have dragged the country into the
slavery of the foreigners. SANA
