Action would remain intact till complete peace in Karachi: Rehman Malik

KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Friday expressed action would remain intact till the establishment of peace in Karachi.

Talking to the media, Rehman Malik said two days’ action improved peace situation in Karachi. Assistance provided by the locals helped us a lot and action would remain continuous till the complete restoration of peace in the city. Home Minister Sindh Manzoor Wasan accompanied Rehman Malik during the press briefing.
He said that he is very grateful to the people who helped agencies to apprehend the militants and he urged of the news agencies to play their part as well to uncover the terrorism plotters in the city.
He added arrested radicals would be produced before the media soon. Commenting on the matter, Manzoor Wassan said Federal Government is helping in restoration of peace in Karachi and the apprehended militants are being interrogated.
Earlier, leader Nizam-e-Mustafa Party Haji Hanif Tayyab alongwith the delegation of scholars met Rehman Malik in Crisis Management Cell. Provincial Interior Minister Manzoor Wasan was also present there. Rehman Malik urged of the religious scholars to works as a moral fiber to restore peace in the city. Online
