Britain lawyer Stafford Smith and Pakistani lawyers have started campaign
at international level for the arrest of former CIA Legal Chief Jan
Rezo on the killing of civilians in drone attacks in Pakistan.
Lawyers of Britain and Pakistan will register case in Islamabad
Police Station. According to the lawyers’ the action should also be
taken against Jan Rezo and all those who are involved in the drone
strike operations.
Lawyers said that since 2004 to till date at least 2500 Pakistani civilians have been killed in the result of the drone strikes.
For legal action against John Rezo, the FIR will be registered on
behalf of family members of the deceased persons, who were killed in US
drone strike in 2009.
According to Stafford Smith the drone strikes of September2009 and
December’s Machi Khel strikes as reason for the arrest of the former
CIA chief. SANA
