RAWALPINDI: People have protested over increase in the number of
quacks in Rawat and have demanded of the local authorities to launch
operation against them.
“You can see a string of so called
clinics of the quacks on both sides of the GT road. They are running
their business with displaying name plates of MBBS doctors and
plundering the innocent citizens with impunity," residents said.
They
are in fact criminals who are selling medicines prescribed for animals
to the people with the attractive messages of rejuvenation, vitality and
force capsule, said a shopkeeper.
They get certificate from
some fake homeopathic institute and start medical practice under the
garb of doctor. “ Condition of a sugar patient deteriorated a few days
back when a quack prescribed some medicine which was extremely sweet
saying that sugar kills sugar, said Najeeb Ahmad a passer by.
Some of them have hired services of so called nurses and are indulged in the illegal business of abortion.
People have demanded immediate action against them to save them from these death points. Online
