Parents concerned at lady teachers’ absence

RAWALPINDI: Parents of students of Girls Primary School Bhan, UC Bairot Khurd, have expressed grave concern over next to nil attendance of lady teachers in the classes.

There is only one girl’s primary school in this area which was approved after ceaseless efforts. Teachers have been appointed but they don’t pay any heed to conduct classes and teach the students.
“My daughter goes to school daily but she spends all the time in gossiping and playing with her class fellows. She returns home but empty handed in terms of knowledge like she leaves home early in the morning, said Jannat Bibi a resident of the area.
Teachers only attend the school on pay day and they remain absent the whole month long. They have been employed here only to get salary and not to impart any lesson to students because they are from influential families complained a group of inmates of the village. Online
