Gas supply increased for twin cities

Islamabad: Following increasing pressure from residents of twin cities, the government has increased 52 million cubic feet per day (MMCFD) gas supply for twin cities to address low gas pressure.

According to ministry of petroleum the gas quota has been increased from 192 to 244 mmcfd for the twin cities in a bid to meet the requirements of increasing gas demand.
An officials of ministry of petroleum told Online here on Tuesday, that gas enhancement decision has been taken after receiving several complaints of low gas pressure.
Citizens welcomed this decision and said that they were facing a lot of problems due to low gas pressure as major number of citizens goes to their destination without breakfast.
After this decision and its implementation citizen would get relief.
It is pertinent to mention here citizen several times protested against the low gas pressure in the cities and demanded of ministry of petroleum to take immediate steps to increase the gas pressure. Online
