KARACHI: Sindh Police’s Crime Investigation Department (CID)
Saturday arrested a terrorist, Abid Bangash of an outlawed outfit from
Tariq Road after an encounter.
Kalashnikov and hand grenades were recovered from the terrorist’s possession.
According
to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Fayyaz Khan, CID Police
conducted a sting operation on a secret tip-off and arrested Abid
Bangash hailing from banned group Hizbullah after exchange of fire.
Police also recovered a Kalashnikov, two hand grenades and Rs. 230,000 from the terrorist.
According to police sources, Abid Bangash ran a terror camp in Parachinar. He is involved in several bank robberies in Karachi. Online
