132 Pakistanis stranded in Jeddah airport reach Lahore

LAHORE: The 132 Pakistani Umrah pilgrims stranded in Jeddah airport for last seven days reached Lahore airport here on Saturday.

As per details, PIA’s first flight PK-760 carrying 450 passengers including 132 Pakistani Umrah pilgrims stranded in Jeddah airport for last seven days, has reached Lahore airport here at 7 am on Saturday.
Meanwhile, PIA’s two flights carrying 1000 Umrah pilgrims stranded in Jeddah airport have reached Lahore. The second flight PK-7396 carrying 500- passengers has reached at Lahore.
A large number of relatives of the passengers were present at the Allama Iqbal Airport to receive their loved ones. Talking to media on their return, some of the stranded pilgrims said that they were not informed about reason for delay in the flight while no arrangement were made to look after them at Jeddah.
Meanwhile the PIA officials informed that the national airlines sent 3 plane to Jeddah to bring back Pakistani Umrah pigrims, who were stranded at Jeddah since August 28. Online
