PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti
has stated that his government supports the federal government in its
efforts to bring peace to Karachi which is home to all citizens of the
country.
While talking to media after inaugurating the
construction work of the boundary wall of Bacha Khan Greater Complex
costing more than Rs.170 million on Saturday. He was of the view that
the action against terrorist, target killers and land grabbers must be
across the board while all political forces must cooperate in making
the city a cradle of peace.
Expressing the establishment of
Bacha Khan Greater Campus as a Mega Project , taking several years to
complete, he hoped that any change of governments should not hinder its
completion as such projects were not owned by a particular political
party or an individual rather it carried public importance and served
collective interest. He informed that Bacha Khan Greater Campus
expanded over an area of about 5,000 kanals where buildings for Abdul
Wali Khan University, Ameer Muhammad Khan Campus of Agriculture
University and Bacha Khan Medical College would be constructed.
Replying to a to a question about arrears of Net Hydle Profit, the
chief minister said that he had talked to the PM in this regard the
arrears of Rs.110 billion would be paid to the government of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa in cash and would not be adjusted against loans: however he
said that the issue of mark up and uncapping of annual Net Profit would
be resolved in a meeting of the committee constituted by PM.

the chief minister was briefed that the infrastructure of Bacha Khan
Greater Campus which included the construction of internal roads,
sewerage and drainage system would be completed at a cost of Rs37.30
